Happy Healthy Halloween & Harvest Season

For many parents who are aware of all the chemicals and artificial ingredients lurking in Halloween candy this can be a precarious time of year. Likely you love the harvest time, the beautiful leaves, the pumpkins, the fun decorations and how darn cute your kid looks in their costume – but you are dreading all the junk they will be given. Many of us are also concerned about the type of candy we want to give out to other children in our neighbourhoods.

Introducing CAPPA Canada Pre-Conference 1 Day Workshop on October 25, 2012 in Ottawa Ontario, presented by Postpartum Support international (PSI) titled Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care. Speaker Birdie Gunyon Meyer, is an RN with a Master’s Degree in Psychology/Counseling.  She is the Coordinator of the Perinatal Mood Disorders Program at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is the immediate Past-President of Postpartum Support International and Chairperson of the President’s Advisory Council.
